Formatting Instructions
for Papers, Posters, and Panel Write-ups
in Published Proceedings

It is planned that the proceedings of the workshop, which will include papers and poster materials, will be published by Springer-Verlag as a Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) publication to be made available following the workshop.

Please e-mail your completed papers and poster materials to fmw@listserv.gsfc.nasa.gov by the date specified in the workshop announcement.

The basic instructions on formatting for the published proceedings are as follows:

PAPERS

Papers should be between 10-15 pages in length including figures and should follow the guidelines established by Springer-Verlag.

POSTERS

Poster inputs for publication should be two pages in length.  Graphics are welcome (but optional), provided they would be readable in the published version.  This input should again follow the Springer-Verlag guidelines.

PANEL WRITE-UPS

Panel session inputs for publication may be one or two pages in length.  Graphics are welcome (but optional), provided they would be readable in the published version.  As with the other inputs, please follow the Springer-Verlag guidelines.

The workshop organizing committee may provide an iterative editing of the papers and poster materials before it makes final submission to Springer-Verlag.  Do not submit your papers or poster inputs directly to Springer-Verlag.  We will take care of that.
